Educating Compassionate and Creative Global Citizens
The first Measure S project was the construction of large solar array shade structures at all of our schools including the District Office. The structures support over 4,000 American made panels that will generate over 2 billion watt hours of electricity per year. The projects were completed on time and have been saving us money since July 1, 2017. This summer they produced so much power that SoCal Edison sent us a check for $50,000 in overproduction. Last year, they saved us over $350,000 in electrical costs and we are off to a stronger start this year due to all of the sunshine!
